This study aims to examine the impact of students’ academic performance, influenced by stickiness, social capital, social trust and social self-efficacy, on their life satisfaction. Using empirical data collected from 292 undergraduate students in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and structured equation modeling to test the validity of the proposed research model, the study provides new insights into social networking sites by exploring the negative impact between academic performance on students’ life satisfaction in the context of Vietnam. Research findings support all hypotheses with positive relationships between constructs in the model, except for the relation between stickiness and academic performance. These findings can provide education managers with useful strategies and tactics to enhance students’ life satisfaction.en
