Problem: With the rapid advancement of technology, technostress has become a significant issue that affects work performance, and employee satisfaction. Therefore, being aware of the elements that affect and mitigate technostress in the workplace is crucial for organizations to minimize its negative impact on employees, thereby improving task performance. Reason for writing: is to investigate the connection among the technostress producers, evaluate their impact on job satisfaction and productivity, and evaluate the moderating impact of technostress inhibitors and the mediating role of burnout in the context of this issue. Methods: The quantitative research methodology used to enhance the accuracy of the results. Furthermore, using the PLS-SEM model, a component of the SEM technique, in combination with SmartPLS 4.0 software, direct effects, indirect effects and moderating effects. The model validity and reliability were confirmed, with an emphasis on evaluating the study hypotheses. Results: The outcomes reveal a favorable connection between the technostress creators and burnout (β = 0.265). The technostress creators negatively affect task performance (β = 0.384), but possess no discernible impact on job satisfaction (β = -0.043, p = 0.439 > 0.05). Additionally, burnout negatively impacts task performance (β = 0.475) and job satisfaction (β = 0.216). In addition, job satisfaction is positively impacted by technostress inhibitors (β = 0.609). Moreover, the link between job satisfaction and technostress creators is strongly moderated by technostress inhibitors (β = -0.036, p = 0.004), but have no mitigation on the connection between burnout and technostress creators (β = -0.012, p = 0.347 > 0.05). Conclusion: The research highlights the importance of addressing technostress causes to improve job satisfaction, and task performance. Despite having a moderating influence on job satisfaction, technostress inhibitors have little impact on burnout. Thus, organizations should focus on enhancing mechanisms and creating opportunities for employee participation to mitigate technostress in the workplace.
