dc.description.abstract | Research on employee engagement has been focused worldwide since 1990 with Kahn's premise research on engagement from the work perspective. However, although cohesion has begun to be of interest in organizations in Vietnam, the theoretical background and related research on the topic are still very few. In addition, in Vietnam, there has not been any outstanding academic research on this topic, especially in COVID-19, with new challenges for human resource management. In this study, there are 5 main objectives: (1) Identifying factors affecting employee engagement during the COVID-19 period; (2) Measure the impact of factors affecting employee engagement during the COVID-19 period, (3) Determine the relationship between employee engagement and performance during the period COVID-19, (4) Measuring the impact of engagement on employee performance during the COVID-19 period, (5) Proposing policy administration implications to help improve employee engagement employees and work performed during the COVID-19 period. Quantitative research was conducted through a survey questionnaire with 265 full-time employees working in Vietnam and analytical tools. The study results confirm the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support, Job Characteristics, Rewards and Recognition with Job Engagement and Organization Engagement. The Work-Life Balance factor alone has statistical significance for Organization Engagement. The team's research results also show that Organization Engagement will impact Employee Performance. Based on the research results, the group has proposed some specific management implications related to the influencing factors to increase employee engagement in work and organization. | en_US |
