Abstract: | The study focuses on evaluating the impacts of extremely high temperatures and women's empowerment on energy poverty in Vietnam, using data from the VARHS and weather data sourced from the ERA5 dataset of the ECMWF. Its primary goal is to provide clear and specific empirical evidence into the link between women's empowerment and energy poverty under the influence of extremely high temperatures. Additionally, the study references and employs reliable formulas to calculate related indicators, running models using household fixed effects, and robust standard errors at the regional level, computed through a random effects probit panel regression model. The study emphasizes the significance of women's empowerment as a regulatory factor in mitigating energy poverty in the context of extremely high temperature impacts |
