Abstract: | First, this study was born with the aim of clarifying the relationship between innovation performance (IP) and digital platform power (DPC) in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. In addition, the study also clarifies the role of the mediating variable - intellectual capital (IC) - as well as the operation of the moderating variable - environmental dynamics (ED). We used structural equation modeling (SEM) to study the hypotheses proposed by using 273 quality survey samples from the interviews that the team conducted with the participants. From here, we found that with the seven hypotheses we proposed, the majority were accepted as having a positive and very important relationship. However, relational capital (RC) had a negative impact on IP and ED negatively changed the relationship between DPC and HC. This is considered the first study on the relationship between DPC and IP. The results of the study show that DPC is an essential and effective driving force for the IP provision of SMEs. These findings will fill the gap in the literature on the relationship between DPC and IP in the digital economy era that increasingly uses many large and small market sectors. Above all, this research paper is born to encourage SMEs in Vietnam to quickly learn, develop and improve digital skills to suit their markets and provide high innovation performance |
