dc.description.abstract | The rapid digitalization of China's industrial landscape presents both opportunities and challenges for environmental sustainability and its impact on industrial green transformation is still unpredictable. Examining the intricate relationship between digitalization and green transformation in China using data from 35 industries from 2006 to 2023 using a Feasible Generalized Least Squares, this research focuses on how technological transformation and green technology innovation mediate this relationship. The analysis confirms digitalization’s strong positive impact on industrial green transformation. While green technological innovation supports sustainability, inefficiencies in capital renewal and waste treatment can hinder progress. Structural factors like state ownership and capital intensity also play a crucial role, highlighting the need for strategic investments and policy support | en_US |
