| dc.description.abstract | This project aims to enhance knowledge sharing for new employees in the Commercial Department at Avery Dennison RIS Vietnam Co., Ltd. The study was motivated by the practical issue that new employees require a relatively long time to become fully competent, despite the company’s existing onboarding programs and internal training activities. The core problem identified in this research is ineffective knowledge sharing, reflected in fragmented information sources, difficulty in locating updated SOPs, complex product knowledge, heavy reliance on experienced colleagues, and informal knowledge transfer. A mixed-method approach was applied, including qualitative interviews, literature review, a survey of 100 employees, descriptive statistics, and Independent-Samples T Test to evaluate the current situation and compare perceptions between new and experienced employees. The findings indicate that knowledge sharing in the department is at a moderate level. Employees generally show positive trust, social interaction, leadership support, and collaborative culture; however, knowledge sharing remains reactive, informal, person-dependent, and insufficiently reusable. Based on these findings, the project proposes practical solutions, including developing a Commercial Knowledge Hub, promoting an “Ask-Share-Record-Reuse” culture, implementing leadership-driven onboarding, strengthening structured social interaction, establishing non-financial recognition for knowledge-sharing behavior, and reinforcing a trust-based learning environment. These solutions are expected to improve knowledge accessibility, reduce repeated inquiries, shorten new employees’ learning time, and support a more sustainable knowledge-sharing capability in the department | en_US |
